Joe Rogan “End of The World Show” Handbill

The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast charges my art studio with inspiration and I wanted to honor that with appreciation, so I created this unofficial handbill for the End Of The World Show at the Wiltern in Los Angeles. Also part of the show were comedians Doug Stanhope and Joey “Coco” Diaz with the band HoneyHoney opening. This woodcut print was the test project of my brief studies at a Highpoint Center for Printmaking in Minneapolis, MN.

The image was drawn and transferred to a woodblock where it was carved, inked and ran through a traditional etching press. A total of ten prints were made on archival printmaking paper. The paper was dampened before the inked block was pressed, which embossed the image into the paper as well. This handbill was not endorsed by Joe Rogan, was not numbered in edition and was never for sale.
